Privacy policy

Our approach is simple: no advertising tracking and no sale of your personal information. We do not collect your app activity for advertising. Some information is still needed when you contact support, make a purchase, sync a layout or use remote access. This policy explains those limited uses for ELMC Mobile, ELMC Connect, ELMC Midi Deck and this website.
Information you choose to send
Support: we store your name, email address, selected product, subject, message, submission time and request status so we can review the issue and contact you. Support requests are not public. Authorized ELMC staff may review them using ChatGPT and the connected Sites tools.
Feature requests: we do not ask for your name or email. We store the selected product, idea title, description, submission time and status. These ideas are displayed publicly. Please do not include personal information, passwords, email addresses or private production details.
Data used by the apps
Local control and layouts: the apps process the commands and configuration needed to control your Ecamm setup. Mobile layouts and preferences are stored on your device. If you enable available iCloud features, Apple’s iCloud services store and synchronize your private profile data and associated assets using your Apple account.
Purchases: Apple processes App Store payments. ELMC does not receive your payment card details. Where RevenueCat is used, purchase records and an app-specific customer identifier are processed to validate purchases, restore access and manage subscription entitlements. An anonymous identifier does not mean no purchase information is processed. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.
ELMC Connect: remote access processes Mac and paired-device identifiers and names, pairing authorization, protected credentials, purchase authorization and connection information. The connection service stores records needed to recognize authorized devices. Remote commands and responses travel through connection infrastructure to reach Ecamm on your Mac. Only pair devices you trust; you can remove a paired device in Connect.
ELMC Midi Deck: its App Store listing states that the developer does not collect data from the app. MIDI input and control configuration are used to operate your setup. Apple may separately process purchases and platform diagnostics under its policies.
Website hosting and spam protection
This site uses ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure to host pages and store form submissions. Hosting providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request information and operational logs to deliver and protect the service. This site does not add advertising trackers or marketing analytics.
To reduce automated spam, our forms use a short browser computation, a hidden spam field, single-use verification tokens and submission limits. We store a daily hash derived from the visitor’s IP address for those limits, rather than putting the raw IP address into support or feature records. This is a security measure, not an advertising profile. Expired verification and rate-limit records are removed during later form-check requests; when the site is inactive, cleanup waits until another request.
How we use and share information
We use submitted information to provide support, consider product improvements, operate requested features and protect the service. Service providers may process information for those purposes. We do not sell it or use support addresses for marketing. We may disclose information if required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights or prevent abuse.
Retention and your choices
We keep support records while needed to handle the request and related follow-up. Feature ideas remain on the board until removed. Records are not automatically deleted on a fixed schedule. You can ask to access, correct or delete information you submitted by using the support form and selecting the relevant product. Include the request reference or enough detail to find the record, but no sensitive identity documents. We may need to verify the request, and legal requirements or provider backups may affect deletion.
For a feature idea submitted without contact information, keep the submission reference so you can identify it later. Remove private information before posting: public content may be copied by others.
Children and changes to this policy
The website forms are intended for adults seeking product support or sharing ideas. If a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can address it. We will update this page when our practices change and show the new effective date.
